We recommend using Internet Explorer as your browser when using Securities Mosaic.
If you experience difficulties when opening documents or clicking links throughout the website, please check your internet security settings. There are a few instances in which clicking a link will open a new window; a pop-up blocker may prevent the window from opening.
Securities Mosaic is located at www.securitiesmosaic.com. Click Log In under the Securities Mosaic logo on the home page to enter the website. (If your organization has a license with IP authentication, usually a firm-wide license, you will be logged in automatically. For information on IP authentication, write accounts@knowledgemosaic.com or call 1-866-650-3600.)
Enter your user name and password in the appropriate boxes, then click the Login button. Make sure to type both words exactly as they were issued to you, as your user name and password are case-sensitive. Typing upper-case letters instead of lower-case letters will cause your login to fail.
Client ID: This is an optional field for users who wish to track client jobs and costs. These codes are established by you to conform to your client records. Contact us at support@knowledgemosaic.com or 1-866-650-3600 to discuss reporting options.
To log in faster, check the box marked Remember my User Name and Password and you will be logged in automatically when you click the Login box. Your user name and password will be stored on your computer only.
If you have entered your user name and password correctly, you will see the Securities Mosaic home page again.
If you have forgotten your username or password, click Forgot Account Information. Fill in the email address you used when you signed up for Securities Mosaic and click Submit and your username and password will be emailed to you.

Content Tabs & Menu Cards [top]
Six content tabs identify the major Securities Mosaic information clusters--Disclosure, Regulation, Enforcement & Litigation, SROs, Guidance, and News. Each of these six tabs has its own "menu card" containing links to related search pages. Just click a content tab to show the set of databases available for you to search in that substantive area. On some menu cards, you'll find links to late breaking news and pertinent regulatory information in the bottom section.
Clicking a link on a menu card, such as All SEC Filings on the Disclosure card, will take you to a search page. At the top right of any search page, click Data Details for a summary of the database contents, or click Help to view database-specific user guidance. For additional help with searching, browse our resources under Customer Support (on the left of the home page) or contact us at support@knowledgmosaic.com.
The Resources area provides links to current newsworthy topics. The Spotlight is a compilation of resources on a recent topic of interest to the securities industry. Past Spotlights are archived on the News & Spotlight Archive page. The Paper Trail is a link to a recently published document of interest relating to corporate and securities regulation.
This box searches the features, pages, and categories of data available on Securities Mosaic to help you locate the proper search page. Enter a term or phrase such as "no-action letters" and click Search to identify the search page or pages that contain No-Action Letters.
Go To Page is a dropdown menu that appears in the bar above the six content tabs on the home page, and on the top navigation bar of all search pages. The drop-down offers “jump links” to each search page, as well as to SEC Watchlist Alerts and a Detailed Site Index.
The Securities Mosaic Blogwatch brings together on a single web page the blog posts of leading bloggers on salient securities topics. For commentary on matters of importance to corporate and securities professionals, click SM Blogwatch in the left column. Check out the Soap Box in The Wired Mosaic for observations of Knowledge Mosaic analysts.
Mouse over Customer Support in the left column to choose from links allowing you to subscribe to Securities Mosaic, get assistance with your account, obtain answers to common technical questions, and more.
Knowledge Mosaic offers both live and online website training opportunities. To sign up for a live web training session, mouse over Customer Support and click Training. Besides the current news and regulatory information found on the bottom of some menu cards, the Today's News box in the left column provides instant access to the current editions of our daily news services, the Securities News, Fund News, and Daily News Digest.
The Wired Mosaic, besides being the title of our weekly newsletter, is a resource containing three features designed to keep Knowledge Mosaic users on top of federal regulatory events, our company, and our products. The Soap Box houses our own blog on public policy, administrative behavior and political gamesmanship in the federal regulatory arena. Click Press Box to track Knowledge Mosaic product developments and company news. The Tool Box is the repository for all our online training materials and database content profiles.
Website Navigation Tips [top]
The
navigation bar at the top of every search page gives you access to all of the
site's databases in one click. Hover your mouse over another word in the top
menu bar, such as Regulation, and click a database link from the small
menu that appears over it.
If you want to return to the home page at any time during your session, click the Securities Mosaic logo on the left side of the navigation bar on any search page.
To access more instructions on searching Securities Mosaic databases, mouse over The Wired Mosaic in the left column of the home page and click Tool Box. You can also click the Help link on the navigation bar of any search page to generate database-specific user guidance.
The site map lists the main pages of the website. To access the site map from the home page, click Site Map in the footer box.
To end your session, click Logout on the right side of the navigation bar on any search page. To log out from the home page, click Logout in the footer box at bottom.
